BIOGRAPHY
Grim Paradise is a standout alternative rock band based in Madrid, Spain. Although the project began in 2016 under a different name and lineup, the band as it is known today officially took shape in 2021 under the name Grim Paradise.
Their music is a captivating fusion of immersive melodies and high-energy rhythms, deeply inspired by the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos. This influence creates a unique sonic and visual experience that resonates powerfully with their audience.
The band is made up of four talented musicians: Verónica Almería (vocals), Noe Cooper (guitar), Gio (bass), and Nando (drums). Each member brings their own artistic vision and skills, shaping a distinctive sound that sets them apart in today’s music scene.
In 2019, Grim Paradise released their debut EP, AfterLife, which received praise for its innovative approach and six atmospheric tracks. Since then, they have released singles such as With Me and You Push Me Away, further establishing their presence in the music landscape. The band has recently released their first full-length studio album, Renacimiento, now available on all platforms.
Throughout their career, Grim Paradise has brought their powerful live performance to numerous stages, including the Granito Rock festival, and were finalists in Moskito Rock 2025. They have performed in renowned venues such as the WiZink Center (venue), Sala Revi, and Independence, as well as festivals like Stay Alive, where they played at the iconic La Riviera venue, among many others.

Veronica Almeria
Vero is our singer, cheerful and a bit distracted. She’s a Disney lover used to travel through the woods whistling to wild birds all around. Until one day she tripped down a ravine and thus reached the world of the dead. Now she’s known as the singer of the hereafter (beyond, after death…).

Noe Cooper
The guitar spoke to her at night and that drove her insane. One day she decided to put an end to this torture and cranked up the volume (turn one the amp) on a rainy day. Now, both of them live on the other side where it’s always dark and the guitar can speak freely.

Gio
From a young age,Gio was captivated by deep, resonant sounds. His relentless quest for heavier bass frequencies led him to experiment with increasingly larger strings and, ultimately, high-voltage cables. This adventurous pursuit took him to the other side, where he now crafts powerful low-end grooves that pulse through the heart of Grim Paradise.
Nando
nando has always had a penchant for hitting things. As a child, he could often be found drumming on desks, cushions, and anything else within reach. One day, his curiosity led him out into the world, seeking new objects to strike. Unfortunately, he chose to test the resonance of a nightclub bouncer's bald head, which resulted in his own passage to the other side. Now, this quirky drummer channels his energy into crafting rhythmically explosive beats for the band.
